Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Chef with expertise in Italian cuisine, particularly in preparing authentic Pizza, Pasta, Espresso, and other Italian dishes. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of traditional Italian cooking techniques while incorporating creativity to adapt flavors to Indian preferences when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality Italian dishes, including wood-fired/oven-baked pizzas, fresh pasta, risottos, and espresso-based beverages.
  • Ensure authenticity in Italian recipes while innovating to suit local tastes.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including ingredient sourcing, stock management, and food costing.
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards in compliance with food regulations.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in Italian cooking techniques.
  • Collaborate with the management team to design seasonal menus and special dishes.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef specializing in Italian cuisine (Pizza, Pasta, Espresso, etc.).
  • Culinary degree/diploma or equivalent experience in Italian cooking.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian ingredients, sauces, and cooking methods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Creativity in fusion dishes (Italian-Indian blends is a plus).
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
